In this webinar, dr. Luiz will present an anatomically guided modification of midface repositioning using PLLA/PCL barbed threads, based on the technique described in his recently published technical report. The approach redirects the terminal segment of the thread posterior to the zygomatic retaining ligament line, aiming to transfer tensile forces toward a more stable fascial structure. He will discuss the anatomical rationale, technical principles, vector design, and clinical applications, supported by cadaveric correlation, 3D imaging, and illustrative clinical cases. The concept represents a biomechanical evolution from conventional floating-thread placement toward a fixed-anchorage approach.
